Vintage metal pin cushion possibly victorian

Vintage rare metal and velvet pin cushion. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.For your consideration  is this little collectible beauty. I believe it may be pewter, but not 100%certain. The material also appears to be plush, There is a bit of wear on one side of the shoe. But at it's age it is to be expected.  It measuresq 3 &3/4 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide. Thanks for looking
