Vintage German Porcelain Pincushion, Boudoir Marie Antoinette Doll

Vintage German Porcelain Half Doll marked 4344 GERMANY. This  beauty with blue ribbon and pearls in her hairdo had been found with its original pincushion. There definitely was an original skirt attached to the pincushion but it didn’t survive and only needle marks and remnants of thread could be seen on original base made of simple cotton fabric. I carefully preserved the original pincushion and placed it in the case that serves as doll’s petticoat. The petticoat is made of silk, few layers of different laces, white and blue satin ribbons and it’s decorated by handmade satin bows, “pearl buttons” and garland of gold roses that matches the trim of the blue velvet skirt that is removable.
The doll is approx. 7.5”, the porcelain top is about 3.5”.
