Vintage Bombilla, Mate Drinking Straw, 14K Gold Tip, Argentina, Acero Inoxidable
This is a beautifully crafted drinking straw used to drink mate.
Good condition with normal wear from age and use. Could use a good cleaning.
The gold tip is marked "14K" and measures approx. 1".
One side of the filter is marked "INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" which means "Made in Argentina". The other side of the filter is marked "ACERO INOXIDABLE 18/8", which means stainless steel, and contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel.
The straw portion does not have any marking to indicate the materials, but could be stainless steel or alpacca silver (metal alloy of copper and nickel).
Measures approx. 8" from end to end with filter in place.
