    About us🇯🇵
Swords Japan is backed by a company, specialized in swords and martial arts sport goods, founded in Osaka, Japan.
We only sell 100% original, made in Japan authentic products.
Its founder, Keitaro Tomano (苫野敬太郎), was a former Japanese language teacher at junior highschool, who became a Colonel in the army during the Second World War. After the war, he decided to set up his company, to support and improve the education of the young japanese people through the bushido.
"Sell kindness more than products" was Keitaro Tomano's motto, and it is still the comany's motto nowdays, when it comes to producing and selling its goods.
Every year the company gets recognition at the "Modern Swords Exhibition" (新作名刀展), organized by the "Society for the Preservation of Japanese Art Swords" (日本美術刀剣保存協会), and its swordsmith master, Sanadori Unshuji (雲州住貞永) has been accredited as holder of "Japanese Important Intangible Cultural Property" (無形文化財).
Up to now, more than 4000 swords have already been produced and sold, which is a clear proof of the company high dedication and reliability.
