Rare! Vintage 1940's Vogue Jennie 19" Composition Original Clothes

Description

A hard to find doll that is in wonderful condition! The composition has no crazing, just a very light line on the right cheek that one needs to get very close to see. No repaint or repairs.  Clear blue eyes with a few lashes missing on the outside end of her eye. Open mouth with 4 upper teeth, no lip rubs. Fingers have no chipping. Original wig with no cuts or sparse areas. Original dress, black velvet jacket, one piece teddi, black center snap shoes and rayon socks. I believe the velvet hat was added. Doll is unmarked as stated in the Jan Foulke value guides, Toddles seemed to be the only Vogue composition marked. Dolls such as Valerie, Dora Lee, Betty Jane, Sandra Lee and the 19" were unmarked. Jennie is named after Jennie Graves, the creator of Vogue Dolls. Item # 12Y-61
