Pre-Columbian Pottery Cup With 0.925 Sterling Silver Base

Description

This is a small antique pottery bowl mounted on a 0.925 sterling silver base.  It is decorated with a simple design of dark brown and umber stripes over cream colored slip.  The stripes are worn and irregular.  It was purchased from the estate of a  family that traveled extensively in Central and South America.  Unfortunately that's all the provenance we have.
