Original Civil War Union M1855 Style Light Artillery Shell Jacket

Description

Original Model 1855 light artillery shell jack, union army American Civil War (1.0).
Well worn condition, the color of the blue fabric is deep and vibrant, the red piping is also vibrant, see the collar picture for an example of the true colors.
Interior shows significant wear, and both sleeve linings have been removed.
All the buttons look to be original, but some have been replaced as there are a few different manufacturers but from the CW timeframe.
The pillows on the backside are missing, and the left sleeve looks to be a period replacement without the red piping, overall shows the wearer could have had a rough time of it..
There is very little wear and tear on the overall exterior of the jacket, very little, or practically no moth holes.
This is not a pristine example, but displays very well..
