    Unique piece handcrafted by a Ye'kwana (Yekuana) artisan. New with tag.
    The basket measures about 11 inches high x 7.25 inches diameter across at the top.
    This Basket named Wuwa by the natives was handcrafted in Minñato fiber woven by Ye'kwana artisan Luz Maria Garcia of the Caura River Basin, Edo. Bolivar, with beautiful designs decorated with Brown jungle animals in Salmon color background, achieved through the fiber dyed with plants.
    The Ye'kwana inhabit the depths of the jungle in the Caura River Basin and other tributaries of the Orinoco River in Venezuela, particularly in Bolivar and Amazonas state. They are a friendly, discreet people and possess a magic-religious relationship with life.
