ELECTRIC CALORIMETER by Go Science Crazy***Brand New in original box.
***The box does show wear and is not in excellent condition (see photo), however, the Electric Calorimeter is NEW!
"Electric Calorimeter can be used to measure the potential heat capabilities of various solid or liquid fuels. The cover contains a mounted heating coil of about 1.5 ohms resistance with standard binding posts for electrical connection. When connected to a 6V battery, the coil will cause a temperature rise of about 5°C in 10 minutes. The supporting posts and coil are coated to prevent electrolysis. Also provided is an insulated stirrer supported by a rubber stopper.
