    Civil War Era Union Army Pattern Leather Cavalry .36 cal Cartridge Box - Original - Nice Condition
    Up for Auction is a Civil War Era Union Army Pattern Leather Cavalry .36 cal Cartridge Box.  The tin insert is missing.  This is an Original Cartridge Box.  The leather is soft and supple.  There are no rips or tears in the leather.  Some minor crazing and surface cracking on the flap.  No visible markings.  Nice Original Condition Box, see photo's for details.  This box was used to store the .36 cal cartridges for the Revolvers used by the US Cavalry.
    This is a nice representative example that has ages well over it's 150+ year life.
